Speech Recognition Engine
Vestec’s speech recognition (ASR) engine is designed for “command-and-control” type IVR applications using either keywords or natural, conversational speech.
It is priced at a 70% discount to traditional speech recognition software in terms of licensing costs, maintenance fees, and acoustic models. The ASR engine is fully standards based and supports SRGS (ABNF &XML) grammar writing and MRCP (v1 & v2) platform integration. It offers high accuracy for native and non-native speakers for a wide variety of recognition tasks, including names, digits, and yes/no grammars. The ASR engine supports Asterisk and Freewitch softPBX systems on both Linux and Windows OS.
Acoustic models are available for 10 major languages while work is underway on 14 additional languages.
